I noticed on my 04 TL the driver side door lock will not lock using the keyless entry or even the lock button inside the vehicle. It will not lock unless locked with the physical key in the door.
(If i press the lock button on my keyless remote it will lock all the doors except the driver door.)

Heres where it get strange: If I press lock on remote it will lock all doors except driver door, and if I then press unlock it will unlock all of the doors (Driver door was already unlocked).

Another scenario: If I press lock on my keyless remote it will lock all doors except drivers door. If I then manually lock the drivers door w/ my key (All doors on car are now locked). Now when I press unlock on the keyless remote it will not unlock any doors. Once I manually unlock the drivers door w/ the key, now when I press unlock on the keyless remote it will unlock all doors (Driver door was already unlocked).

Any clue what is going on with this? Please help.

 

hmm, I'm going to say something is wrong with the Driver Door Lock Actuator or the Wiring.

 

Think its an easy fix?

Let us know if that fixed it....

 

with all the doors lock (including driver door) with you inside the car. Pull up the lock manualy and then press your lock button on your remote. Then press unlock again. Try that.

 

I JUST had this issue fixed at the dealer over in Shreveport...my passenger front door was having this issue...it started right after they replaced the window regulator in the same door...but it seemed to fix the problem (they replaced the door lock actuator). Not sure how often this issue occurs...but it is highly annoying until fixed...aka "oh hold on hun, let me manually unlock your door". FAIL

I am going to get the actuator at the dealer this week. Ill keep you posted.
