Well somehow I knew this day would come, the laws of average eventually had me in its crosshair It happened 07/31/2013 and where of all places, in front of an Auto Shop. Kid pulled out of shop to test drive a customers car he just repaired and dammit no time to react....BAMM!!!

I was okay, except when the airbag deployed that shit burned my thumb and wrist. Both cars was TOTAL I've since repaired the car and its as good as new....well almost, body shop had overspray all over the car, it took me 2 days of detailing to get rid of it. Insurance agent was to quick to flag it a Total. With the time and money I invested into the car I couldn't just let him sell it to some damn Salvage Yard so I bought it and had it repaired for half the cost the Insurance agent quoted.

Yes it is a Salvaged Title now.....but I am okay with that.

 

The other reason I bought the car as a salvaged vehicle was the Insurance agent told me if I accept the fair market valve of the car '05 A/T with less than 75,000 and I couldn't remove one item of accessories from it....BULLSHIT I told him, I have nearly $4000 of aftermarket parts and accessories. So rather than letting them sell it to a salvage yard and someone else buy it and fix it up with the parts I invested in I couldn't allow that....end of story.
