2004 TL w/ nav, battery went dead in July and as the battery in the car was 10 years old, replaced battery.
The car is driven maybe once a week, next time used, battery dead.
Checked the HFL while charging the battery, and sure enough it was warm when car off.
Great, removed HFL.
Wife went to use the car a while later battery dead.
Time to do some checking.
470Ma draw when engine off and car asleep.
Narrowed the problem down to the infamous #7 7.5 Amp back up fuse circuit.
When #7 fuse pulled, 14/16Ma.
That's great, but which circuit is the problem as it controls:
Audio, HVAC display module, Clock w/o nav, Combination switch control unit, Gauge control module, Front passenger's power window switch/control unit,Immobilizer control unit-receiver, Navigation unit, Security indicator, Power window master switch, Power mirror control unit, XM receiver unit.
The answer is the Power Window Master Switch.
Maybe this might someone in the future.
