A while ago I had a problem with the NAV system rebooting (https://acurazine.com/forums/3g-tl-problems-fixes-114/navigation-problem-keeps-rebooting-any-electronics-expert-help-appreciated-798004/)... sent the unit to Alpine and they repaired it.

All was well for about two weeks after the repair and now the system has completely crashed. For 30 minutes it showed 4 white stripes on the screen and now it won't boot or show anything at all.

Any ideas?

 

Do a hard reset---disconnect the negative terminal of the battery for about 15mins.

 

^^ Tried that and also removing and reinstalling the DVD... both without success
