The City Driving and the 20" Enkeis are your problem.

Our cars are only rated 19mpg's in the city as is. Throw on some heavy rims with low-profile rubber and you have a recipe for low MPG's.

There's really no way to get better gas mileage unless you go back to the stock/lighter weight 17 or 18's.

Agreed---its those city miles that are killing your MPG. Out on the highway, you can get 30+MPG on a well maintained car with properly inflated tires.
The 20s may also be a factor, although I would suspect the type of driving (city stop & go) is more important.

The dubs are killing your gas mileage. Depending on how heavy your foot is stoplight to stoplight that can be killing your gas mileage even more in the city. You can always check the easy stuff too like making sure you have a clean air filter, you're using the best gas and oil, etc. But there's no way around it, like ChicagoNick said you're going to have to swap out your wheels if you're concerned about your gas mileage.

man that sucks, what style r ur wheels im thinking about getting some enkei's aswell in 20" but im worried that my mpg's get too low. i read somewhere that the stock 17's weigh about 26.5 pounds the enkie lightweights im looking at weigh 29.5 i hope that wont be too bad on mpg its a total of 12 pounds......

atta boy^^^^ lol that would do it. If you lose the rims ur gonna get much beter gas milage cause it takes a heck of lot more gas to start going from a stop with those heavy rim's and size. That's why the city gas mileage is killing you the highway gas mileage wouldnt be as bad though. If it makes you feel better this is what i'm getting in my TL and no i dont have 20's lol

You gotta pick one measuring standard and go with it. The Navi Trip Computer is always off by a few MPG from the MID, as well.

Seafoam is frigging awesome. I really noticed a difference after applying it. Skip the injector cleaner and buy one can of Seafoam and follow the instructions in the 3G Garage for applying it.

Seafoam is a nice warm bubble bath compared to b12.. which probably means it's a little overkill as well.. lol.
