Amsoil way full tranny oil change on TL?

There is a suggested way of changing tranny oil on Amsoil web site when you can change all the oil at once by disconnecting oil hose from tranny and it goes without full flash. Basically it is alternative to full flash and continious drains and refils. My question is:

Has somebody done this way full tranny oil change on TL?

Out of my element on a TL as it does not have an external oil cooler, but what they will do is disconnect the line to the oil cooler, start the engine and allow the fluid to be pumped into a container while rapidly trying to keep the trans from running out of fluid.

Do it the right way, normal drain and refill and you'll be good to go. If concerned do the 3 x 3 method.

Just drain and fill 3-4 times (drive a few miles each time). That'll get you to around 90%, you won't actually use much more than doing it through the lines.

Must have been sleepy when posting the link. Guess I should have added to follow the directions and do the change 2 more times, hence the 3x3, change the fluid 3 times and each time 3 quarts.
