All of my powered accessories work fine, but car won't start. Any suggestions?

I attempted to follow the steps in one of the posts here (quick link below) to investigate a possible transmission issue with my 07 TL, but I believe I entered the paperclip in the wrong ODB2 ports at first and there was a visible spark. I decided to try and start the car and although all of the accessories power on with no problems, the car does nothing when I try and start it. (no sounds are made at all) Can anyone suggest what I should be trying to diagnose in order to get the car started again? I have no clue where to start when it comes to electrical issues. Thanks

Same thing happened to me earlier this year. Check the battery cables, they might be rusted away internally to the point where + cable can't transfer enough juice to the starter to even turn it.

If that ain't it, then you need a starter.

I don't think it's that. The cables are fine and it never had a problem starting. I'm thinking it may be fuse related or something else electrical.

Are you 100% sure? Mine looked OK too. I never had a problem starting either until all of a sudden out of nowhere I did.

Yeah, I went through the fuses and I found that the FI ECU fuse was blown. I replaced it with one of the backups and my car started right up. I thought I posted an update here but I guess I posted it on Reddit instead (I made a post there as well)

I wouldn't end it there. You need to trace back why that fuse blew. Something must be shorting out somewhere.
