Alarm is self-aware?
Alarm is self-aware?
I've searched, so I recognize this has been posted. That said, all the threads seem to stop before a somewhat definitive conclusion is reach.
The alarm randomly started going off and the only way to get it to shut off was to manual unlock the door with the key. The fob wouldn't shut it off. My rear passenger door occasionally shows as ajar on the MID for the first time today, but it was sporadic. Assuming that was the culprit, I went to Acura and bought a new sensor for said door, but to no avail - alarm keeps going off. It has been "cold" here lately, but the battery is probably only 6 months old. Is the next step to get the battery tested? Any other suggestions as this is annoying as shit? I had to leave the car unlocked at work to get it to stop and it's currently sitting in my driveway with the battery disconnected so people can sleep.
