Okay guys, I have a fun one. Last night I drove to the gym. When I got out and armed my car, nothing. It felt as if the whole car died. I walked back to the car and slammed my door and the car armed. Okay my fault. I didn't close the door. However when I finished at the gym and started my car, the trip meter was at 0.0 and I know I put at least 15 miles on the car.

Now cut to me getting home. I get out of the car, same issue. The alarm won't arm. The car feels like its dead. I open the door again and close it. The car arms. I get into my car this morning and the trip computer is back at 0.0.

What do you guys think? Crappy OEM battery?

 

That would be my first guess, but it doesn't explain how the car started without a jump.

 

Loose battery terminal? Or possibly corroded and getting intermittant connection to the battery.
