Alarm goes off

Hi folks running into a problem with my 08 TL Type S... So I was away for like 2 months and the battery was all dead. I unlocked the driver door by putting the key in the lock (its a key fob) and unlocked it, opened the hood, jump start the car, and turned it on, after like 2 seconds the alarm goes off with all the interior lights flashing. I ve tried unplugging the remote start device and jump start it but no help as the alarm keeps going off. Is it smth out of context or I just have to put the navigation code in and it should do it? Any help immediately would be highly appreciated!

Close all door, and press lock and unlock on the remote. That should disarm it.

If the car is not started then it has no power cuz the battery has no juice.so i cant lock or unlock it and If i lock and unlock while the key fob is in the ignition it just does not help I've tried it. the only thing I haven't tried is putting the key in the door lock and press unlock twice do you think that will help? any other suggestions?

when the alarm starts blaring once you hook up power, insert the car key into drivers door and twist to unlock the car. THe alarm thinks the car is locked (was locked when battery died) and now when you give it power with hood/door open the car thinks someone is breaking in.

the alarm does not goes off when I just connect the jump cable it goes off when the jump is connected and I turn on the car. now if you are familiar with the car the car has two alarms one is a regular alarm that we hear in most of the other cars (hard pounding noise goes with intervals) and there is another one attached to the hood latch, that's the one going off so I'm guessing taking out the battery and charging it may fix it or do you have smth else?

Do you have aftermarket alarm system? Did you try to hook up the jumper and use remote to lock and unlock the door?

Purpose of using the remote is to cycle the alarm through the normal steps, thus disarming it.Try using the physical key as well.

If battery is dead you should replace it, but it (most likely) won't solve the alarm issue.

Yes I am necroing an ancient thread.

None of you guys read OP’s questions/comments correctly. The alarm only goes off once the key is already IN THE IGNITION and the car is started. Jumping the car via a boost kit for batteries does not act the same way that jumping from car->car works. The battery only leeches power from the boost kit once you fire up the ignition assuming the battery is fully dead. The keyfob does nothing at this point when the key is in the ignition. It doesn’t matter how you unlock the car prior to boosting it and you can’t take the key out of the ignition while the car is running lol… else the car will turn off and the battery isn’t charged enough to go unlock the door via key and turn proceed to turn car on again.
