So I went to install my K&N filter today and noticed that one bolt was missing, upon attempting to loosen another I found the head was snapped off. The other two came off fine aside from the head snapping on one more as I was buttoning up. I didn't even tighten it hardly!

All 4 were a bit rusty. Just wondering if anyone's ever ran into this before.

I suppose I will have to get new bolts from the dealer now that I only have one holding the airbox lid down.

 

One of my bolts stripped for the airbox too...I've been meaning to get it replaced but there's still the other three holding it on.

 

That's weird, forgot I made this thread. I was able to back two studs out of the bottom portion of the air box which allowed me to secure the lid using 3 bolts. The one remaining stud is rusted solid into place and I didn't give it much effort. I may try again one day. For now the lid is secured by 3/4 so that's good.
