I have a 04' TL AT with 165,000 miles on it. I recently got a viper remote start and security system installed (not sure if it is related to my issue or not) but every once in a while my airbag light comes on and stays on until i turn the car off for an extended period of time. Then once i get back in the car and turn it on it is off? Idk what could be causing this, the only thing i can think of that is consistant is i have a passenger in the car when the light is on, i don't believe the light has come on with just me in the car alone. I called the dealer and they want to look at it, obviously it could be a safety issue, but idk if they can tell where the problem is coming from if the light isn't on when i take it to them. any suggestions?
