Advice for timing belt
Ok im over 100,000 miles and well i need to change the timing belt according to the acura dealership. So im actually not going to go there bc they are charging an arm and a leg. So i have a friend that can do the job for me but id like to try to get the parts myself. What would be everything that I need and what brand or mark should i be looking for and what should i stay away from

The gates timing belt kit has pretty much everything you need and contains all OEM parts minus the water pump. I installed the kit a few months ago and have not had a problem. It's way cheaper than buying the parts from the dealer.
the kit contains the following parts:
-Timing belt
-Water pump
-Idler
-Adjuster pulley
-Hydraulic tensioner
