Advice needed: check engine light and multiple codes

2006 base TL w/ 123k miles, AT

I bought the car almost a year ago w/ 106k miles

I'm on a fairly long road trip and last night the check engine light comes on. I'm not home and do not have access to my regular mechanic (or ANY mechanic as it's the weekend). I took the car to Advanced Auto Parts to have the codes read and here are the results:

25-1 YAW Rate sensor malf.
61-1 Battery voltage malf.
P0741 Torque conv. clutch stuck off
P16BC Generator connector disconnected
P0700 Trans. control system
Torq conv. clutch solenoid

Advice? I have 677 miles between Atlanta, GA and home. Thanks in advance for your replies.

uh oh.

we better hope and pray that it's your battery dying causing differences in voltages resulting of the multiple of codes.

if not, it could very well be your transmission dying.
I know you're on a road trip; but in order to trouble shoot, you'll need to clear the codes, by having the advanced auto guy clear it with his OBDII scanner.

if no access to advanced auto, disconnect negative battery terminal for a few seconds.
I suggest checking the battery terminals to make sure they are secure and tight.
if one of the terminals were loose, the road trip could have jarred it to throw those codes momentarily. tightening the terminals would prevent them from becoming loose and throwing codes.

we only hope its your battery.
check it first!
