Acura TL 2005 overflow coolant cap
so yesterday i Was driving on the highway and my car started to smoke . It haven’t started to overheat untill I saw that the cap was broken . do I have to replace the whole thing or just the cap part. I’m sure I saw something in the reservoir part but it was still coolant in it filled up . I also can see a reflection of a circle idk if normal or not

Dude, look at the OEM parts link I provided above, each active numbered component identifies an individual part you can buy, in regards to the reservoir tank, separately from Acura. 1,2,3,4,5,&6. There is no 'belt in there'.
If you want to buy an aftermarket reservoir tank with the cap and hose for $4.79 before shipping go to rockauto.com and you will find it under coolant recovery tank. Done.

Resovoir Cap sealed shut
Something similar happened to my TLS. I also noticed just before this happened the AC stopped working. Are these related? And after I get the new resovoir tank (because the cap is melted/sealed on) is it an easy install?
Thanks fellas.
