i just purchased a 08 tl type s back in august, i have not used the car since i bought it, once i purchased the car i took it straight to the shop to get paint and lowered. Well today i went and picked up the car to get the alarm done and i notice after the shop lowered the car my ABS and VSA light are on. Is this common? should i be worried? is there a way i can turn these lights off?

Could be the brake pedal switch, which is common.

 

pull the code... 84-1 is caused by a low battery.

You may need the dealer to neutralize the sensors.
