I´m new on this community but i would like to share some points regards the D- Blinking issue:

1. Yes it´s a common issue on Acura TL 04-5 according to forums discussion (my perception)
2. If you car lights on the VSA,Check Engine and D flashing and trannie just works on 2 and 3rd shift mean it´s on safe mode (Limped in)
*You should not dirve this way unless is nessesary, to park, get home or take it to a shop or dealer, sometime when you turn off the car it just come up normal but thats doesn´t mean you can drive it again expecting nothing to happend.
3. This Limp in mode is cause for some electrical/fluid issue so the trannie computer detected and changes the tranie to safe mode.
4. Pressure switch are around 67 dlls on the dealership near you.
5. Mechanichal wear will not be advice by some sort of code or light or anything in your dash board
6. If your are wondering how´s your trannie mechanical parts ask yourself this easy questions:
How many times did i service my trannie?
How do i drive my acura?
How manny miles is my acura?
Under whats conditions do i normaly drive my car?(Weather)
Do i listen to my trannie symptoms?(Bad shifting, slipping, kicking)
*It all starts with a smal faiulure like a snow ball effect.
7. Using the right fluids and a propper operantion will increase the life of your trannie.(For those who still in time to considder a trannie service.)
8. Rebulding a transmission as you already now it´s supper expensive, so listen to the symptoms
