Hello all!
New to TL's after several 95-97 Accords and looking for a part number on the grommet that the linkage goes through the tunnel on an 06 TL w/ a 6spd.
Car has a short throw shifter in it and the grommet will not stay in the body cavity of the car. Talking to a tech when I had the car looked at prior to purchase he said the grommet kept popping out leaving it open to the elements but didn't look damaged.

Anyone else had that issue & if so how did you address it?
Don't see why swapping the shifter would have done anything as to my knowledge the linkage would remain the same, right?

Maybe from installing it you yanked it out in a position that's no longer seating correctly.
