What’s up guys new to the 3rd gen TL just bought car not too long ago previous person told me the car needed a safety switch but changed it same problem so I changed the starter and it’s still doing the no crank no click and the starter is brand new, what could it be?
^how do you bump start it? what the process?
p.s. without diagnosing it, you're just going to throw parts at the car...
so, check battery. check alternator, check starter install. check for corroded cables.
find out what's wrong by checking these items.
Someone pushes it forward or backwards I get in put in gear and let go of clutch fast and it starts up, I’m going to check alternator first and I know the battery is good because it’s from a car I daily drive and it’s a V8 so I know it has enough crank amps

Yes that’s the exact one I’m more then positive that it is but I’ll check it again to make sure, also could a bad alternator cause this? My brother was telling me on his Beamer he had the same issue and he changed alternator and problem was solved I know Acura and BMW are 2 different worlds but

yes, that's why you have to diagnose whether it's bad connections, bad corroded wires, bad alternator, or bad starter
All of those who helped me out I appreciate it! The safety switch ended up needing to be adjusted closer to clutch it was pushing the switch in but wasn’t pushing it in all the way
