does anyone with 07 tl-s mt feel a slight jerkiness in their tires when shifting under normal driving conditions. When driving aggresivly everything feels fine when driving normal if I dont shift very slowly I get something that almost feels like the start of a wheel hop im not sure very strange feeling.

anyone , ideas?

after many attempts to reproduce the effect this what i found. when I bring the car to 3000-4000 rpm before shifting is occurs when i shift into next gear. it is more pronounced when I am fethering in the cluth in with the acceleration, and paying very close attention to the vibration it seems like it might be something with front suspension, I dunno

like i said almost like the beggining of a wheel hop but i am not putting nearly enough power down to produce a hop.

From your description, it sounds like a chattering clutch.

What would be the solution? Changing the fluid to GM syncro? I need to do this anyways for the 3rd gear issue

GM synchro only improves the actual shift action.....definitely do it ASAP, and you'll be amazed at the difference. It's like a new transmission.

As for your other issue, it sounds entirely unrelated to the transmission. As I said, my best guess from your description would be clutch chatter...usually caused by a glazed or warped clutch disc.

I had an '04 Mazda 6 with the same problem...it simply disppeared one day and never did it again. Go figure...
