5AT tranny Q!
hey guys,
i started the my car this morning, 2005 base tl at, and i noticed that it took unusually long for the transmission to engage into "D", reverse seemed fine though. it seems like it does this when the engine cold, cold start. then, on the hwy on my way home from work, i stepped on the gas to pass and the car revved to redline and pinged.... but did not accelerate. car has 120xxx kms, is this a sign the tranny is on the outs? could it be a bad gear switch? i did a 2x3 drain and fill about 20xxxkms ago. and when i checked the fluid levels at NOT today, it was way high. could it be because there is too much fluid? anyone with the same experience?
