Texas roads suck.. my front bumper is rock chipped all around and last year a metal wire was lying in the freeway and I had no choice but to drive over it leaving a cut in the front bumper..

definately right about the Texas roads. I was thinking about getting the clear 3M bra. Has anyone tried to install it yourself?

OUCH! claim it on your insurance, go to a good body shop for estimates. It should come out to around 600-700 dollars. Get a check for the 200+ dollars past your deductible and use it for an A-Spec kit. You are fixing your car with OEM parts.
