4300 vs 6000k hid

I know it has been discussed before but are there any pictures available to show the result.
I am thinking about getting philips bulbs but can not decide if I should either go with 4300 or 6000 as they are for the same price.

On the road, next to cars with Halogen headlights, anything above something like 4500K looks silly. 5000K is pushing it, and 6000K is way off.

If you ask me, output is about the most important part of a headlight, and you tend to get the most with the OEM ~4300K range. If you want 'color', go with the 66240 CBI's, otherwise stick to an OEM bulb.

Headlights are supposed to light up the road, and 4300k offers the most lumens and the truest white light. Why would you want anything that doesnt put out as much light. I could see going up to the CBI's with 5000k but that would be it. Anything else does look ridiculous IMO

if you go with the higher K number you are going to get MUCH LESS USABLE light at 6K. There is a reason that the stock lights are listed as what they are (best light output)

Anything with a higher Kelvin rating than the new Toyota Corollas (LED headlights, looks like it's 5000K) is just silly. Headlights are primarily a safety feature. The driver needs to see the road ahead in the best way possible. Yes, Xenon/LED lights look way better than halogens and make the car look good, but that's not the point.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but it just bothers me so much when I see cars on the road with either blue halogen bulbs (very bad xenon imitations) or glare-y 6000K+ HID retrofits.
