3x3 AT Flush At 91K

The title says it all. I'm trying to find my copy of the service history. Bought the car at 83K and until I find the history I'm just looking for opinions on doing the flush this late in the game.

Not to late. Some people have minor problems with their trans and after doing 3x3 it sometimes fixes their minor problems. Clean trans fluid makes a big difference in preventing damage.

Use OEM trans fluid only.

I recommend you do a 1x3 along with your regular oil change as a preventive maintenance. Doing it this way will purge the trans of contaminants as they appear instead of waiting to purge them all at once with a 3x3 at a later date.

You can set whatever interval you want. The idea is to have a total of 3x3 done within a 30k to 45k miles range. Depending on your driving style or your budget.

So change it at every 2 oil changes or every 3 oil changes or every 4 oil changes... etc. Do what ever works best for you. If your fluid is not to bad right now, you can start with every oil change until the trans fluid starts to look kinda clean and then back off to the longer intervals. I hear some people change their trans fluid at every oil change and have good luck with their trans.

If you have an external trans filter, you should also change that too. Once every 30k or so.

Yes, just replace the aluminum washer/gasket... # 17 or retorque it.

Torque spec is 14lbs. Just finger tight until it bottoms out then cinch it down with a tool. Don't over tighten, use a torque wrench if your not experienced.
