3rd Gen TL A/C Issues (2007)

Hey guys, i have a 2007 TL Type S and I'm having serious issues I've got no idea whats wrong. About 2-3 weeks ago my A/C suddenly stopped blowing cold air. I Have no clue what happened. But every time I hit a bump or a pothole the compressor engages and the A/C blows cold. So I replaced the compressor thinking that's the issue and after I replaced the compressor and everything is plugged in the A/C still won't work (clutch won't engage). I'm completely stumped. Is there something I'm missing? is there some other issue? I need answers cause I live in Florida and it gets brutal down here. I have a feeling it's an electrical issue. All fuses are good also. Thanks in advance!

There's no way for us to help you from here. You need to take the vehicle to a Mechanic to test and diagnose the source of the problem.
Too many possible failures. If Freon is too low or too high compressor will not switch on. Gotta check fuses, relays, hoses, wires and connectors.
Also check entire systems for leaks
Your issue is similar to mine cause it would sometimes work and stop working when going over big bumps.
For me the issue was fix by a loose wire that powers the A/C compressor.

No need for multiple threads for the same issue. I've merged them and moved them to the Problems and Fixes section so someone can better help

The switch is mounted on the fan housing closes to the compressor

How did you fill the system after the compressor replacement?

Bullseye is right.....tough to tell but check the connector leading up to the fan. Mine had a crappy connection and kept the compressor from kicking in. I was about to try a new compressor and "jumpered" the connector and compressor started working.
