2008 TL noise

Sorry im not any where close to being half a mechanic. I just bought this car and it makes this weird noise. I took it to shop to get its timing belt, sepentine belt, cam shafts, idle pulley, hydralics tentioner, Water pump and gasket, and last tensioner pulley. He changed everything and and the noise reduced. He told me that I need the idle pulley bolt replaced and a new power steering pump and that one of them causes the noise and more likely its the bolt. Does anyone got a clue? Also my tranny downshifts like its a manual when its an automatic. Is that normal. I just feel like a small small jerk but not slip. My car is an 2008 base tl witj 104k miles. I will post below a video of the noise

^dude, its lunch time. you only waited a span of 20 minutes before getting impatient.

as for your sounds, i cant view youtube at work, but your mechanic is right....might be the tensioner or the power steering pump.

if power steering pump, it will whine when you turn the steering wheel.

if tensioner it will whine with increased speed.
so, we are right where you started, impatient ass.

You said your at work right? Why are you still leaving negative comments if you cant help. I didnt ask for that and dont think this forum here is to put people down. Anyways thanks for the semi help and have a great day at work..
If you other guys plan on leaving negative feedback please dont leave none at all. I just asked for help because this noise is worrying and I hate to dump a large sum of money in this ride I just got.

im very terse with my words, clear and concise.
I dont see any one else helping you.

I agreed with your mechanics diagnosis and gave you a slight relief as its nothing to be worried about. it's just a slightly annoying noise, that can either be the tensioner or the power steering pump.

also, the TL's auto tranny has something called "grade logic"
where it will slow down like a manual transmission

just watched the vid, thats not a power steering noise or a tensioner.

your car is a 2008 automatic correct?
it sounds like air escaping.

p.s. this doesnt get us any closer to finding the culprit either.
its very hard to diagnose something over the internet.

your best bet is to see if the shop can find something

Just got it back, turns out the mechanic was right, no more noise. Bad news on the tranny is he said I might have a dirty or bad lock up selenoid and thats whats causing my tranny to change gears that way. Anyone else get this problem? Justnspace thanks for taking the time to help out
