2007 TL-S Transmission

Hi All,

Thank you for looking, I recently bought a TL-S and I noticed the Transmission is rough when shifting at lower speed (10-20 mph) also when I goes from Reverse to Drive sometimes the whole car shakes...I don't know whether these "symptons" are normal or something I should take to the dealer. Thanks in advance.

How many miles are on it?

If it's under warranty, take it to the dealer. Depending on the miles, it could benefit from a transmission fluid change. Honda Z1 fluid doesn't last as long as Acura claims it does.

Thanks for the quick replies, the cas have 37k on it. I just scheduled an inspection at the dealer tomorrow I just wanna make sure other TL-S don't have the same problem before going in.

I'd change the fluid if it hasn't been done before. Acura says 60k for severe service, but they are pretty generous with that recomendation. I'd say changing it every 30k miles is more realistic.

There haven't been many issues with the TL-S trans, but it's hard to say since the cars aren't that old and most don't have a lot of miles on them yet.

Hi all,
I think i resolved the problem, the culprit was that it didn't have enough ATF in there, I just had them changed it out last month just to be sure. Hope this will solve the issue. Thanks again everyone

On side note this is a very good forum.
