2007 TL buzzing/vibrating gas pedal at 2000 rpms

I've searched this issue and am going to have the transmission and motor mounts looked into, but I feel like my issue is a little different and wanted to tap into the brain trust here.

2007 TL, 110,000 miles.

At highway speeds between 1800-2000 RPM, the gas pedal has this awful gritty/buzzing/high pitched vibrating feel to it, especially under acceleration through those RPMs. After an hour drive my foot was about to fall off.

The feeling goes away 100% if I let off pressure on the pedal gas or push the pedal more than 10-20%. It's not speed related so much as RPM related. It's a very small window where it happens: foot on the pedal either at cruising speed or light application to speed up a little bit, at highway speeds. This is why I'm leaning towards ruling out alignment or tire issues. I don't really feel it anywhere else, maybe the steering wheel a little bit.

Any thoughts?

Also, the buzzing does go away if I shift into N (5AT).

To further describe the feeling, it's like somebody holding one of those back massagers under the gas pedal, just a little less intense.

Not really a shaking or massive vibration, just a 'buzz'.

Damn, I totally missed that one.

I'll print it out and take it to the dealership, thank you!

While we're spitballing, any other opinions?

Just purchased an 07 TL with 27k on it. Figured it would have not a single issue but i get the steering wheel and gas pedal vibration thats very annoying on the highway.

Car seem sluggish as well at times. No fix for thst yet..

Guy smoked cigars in the car too but im fighting that battle with ozium and new cabin filters...

Stock everything.

You have to download instructions from acura for another thing before you get access. Here's how:

https://acurazine.com/forums/third-g...-016-a-613659/

Also TSB doesn't apply to 2006+ cars!

The issue seems to be with your upper transmission mount, rear engine mount or the front engine mount. You can have a mechanic inspect them for wear/cracking (trans cracks always by 100K). Side one always fails first for the engine mount.

If you want, you can have the current mounts neutralized (finger tighten and repeatedly shift the trans from P, R, D and it'll settle the trans in it's natural position. Tighten the bolts up and you are good to go .

Have you found a fix to this? Been trying just about everything to find out what this is.
