2007 Acura TL Problem Maybe???

I just purchased 07 Acura TL from a dealership thursday and seems to drive fine to me, im only 21 this is my second car. Can you'll elaborate on this car for me? When taking off car has a hard shift kinda going from 1st to 2nd sometimes and 3rd and 4th kinda. Sometimes when driving it will stay in a gear and i will have to accelerate to make the gear go in place. Its like my car is lunging me at times also when im slowing down it feels like im tapping the brakes maybe around the 40 mark. Is my transmission bad?

It was financed through a financial institution, however i did purchase an extended warranty. Will that cover it getting fixed? What should i do now? Visit the lot I purchased it from or go to an Acura dealer or start looking for a new transmission

Curious to know, how long you have owned this car. Unlikely, the selling dealer would let you return a 10+ year old car, due to a mechanical failure. The transmission should be covered by your extended warranty, but to what extent, depends on the terms of the warranty. Read the of the warranty closely, The warranty terms, should disclose, exactly what your obligations are, in the event of a failure. If you noticed erratic transmission issues, immediately, and brought this issue to the selling Dealer's attention, immediately, you MAY have some recourse.

He said he bought it Thursday. 3 days ago. Some dealers have a short period where you can return a vehicle.

Give that car back asap. Hopefully they'll fix it with a new transmission, if not pick out another car.

The OP is describing normal symptoms as I understand it....the hard shifts can be attributed to a needed transmission fluid drain/fill. And the gear hold could be attributed to Honda's grade logic.....just my 2cents.
Would need more info than just that sentence.
