I want to start doing my own oil changes what do you guys think about the Honda oem oil filters make in Japan

they're great. replaces the old Filtech ones. I use these and the Mobil 1 M-110A exclusively

 

Great thanks for the response do you know what’s the difference between the Honda made in USA or the Honda made in Japan oil filters

 

the sooner you change your fluid, I would not get too hung up on "what brand of filter" you use. If you change your oil every 3500-5000 miles, then even a cheap FRAM filter will be ok... This is My opinion. I use Fram all the time. Engine is stupid clean, runs super smooth.. 135k miles. But I dont go 10,000 miles or more between oil changes either.
