2006 TL won't start.
Hello ppl
I am having a major problem with my newly purchased 2006 TL. I got this certified TL last month the 15th, loved it. But thing quickly changed, it all happened last night, after work I could not start it, and all I can hear was a buzz sound when I was turning my key, it would not start. I was freaking out in the parking lot, and could not think what is wrong with my car. I waited for about 5 mins and tried again, it started to buzz and after 5 or so seconds it started, I was able to drive it home with no problems on the road. This morning the same drama happened again, this time took me 2 tries, I could not believe it a 2006 TL with only 30K miles. So I called work took leave and head to my dealer (Suburban Acura in Farmington Hills, Michigan), and I live in Lansing, that’s a 65 mile drive! I told them what happened and they took the car and could not find anything wrong with it, I was told if I want a more extensive diagnostic on the problems I will have to leave the car there for at least a day, and the manager there told me I could make an appointment for next Tuesday. I am very disappointed with Acura right now, and can somebody please help, if anything like this ever happened to any other TLs.
thanks

thanks guys, that was the 1st thing Acura did, to check the battery with an ED-18, and it was fine, starter was also cheked. I am taking it to them again this time I will leave it there, Acura was albe to loan me a car. Thanks guys I will let you guys know what's up later.
Acura replaced starter relay, and told me this is a known issue with TLs. "If the ignition switch is turned very slowly when cranking the engine, you may hear a buzz from the starter relay, just switch a little faster, and the relay won't buzz." That's what they told me, not sure that's what it is. I can still hear the buzz, but not as much. I am going to change the batteries too, (Optima 35 red cap) later.
I had a very similar issue this past friday. I got off work and went out to start my car and it would not crank. All it did was make a clicking noise, all the lights in the car would work and the navi would come on but would blink. I originally thought it was the starter that wasn't working since all my lights and things came on.
I called TLC and they sent someone out, they said it was the battery and jump started the car. So, I drive it home and everything is fine except my BRAKE, VSF, and one other light would not turn off on my dash. Once I got home I tried to start the car again with no luck.
I'm going to try to jump it again and take it to the dealership and leave it, hopefully they can fix it under warranty and ill have it back before to long. If anyone has any other suggestions please let me know.

You were exactly right. I took the battery out and took it up to Advance, they tested it and it was bad. Got a new battery and everything works. I just didn't quite understand why all my lights and everything worked. Oh well, car works perfectly now. Thanks.
The battery can have enough juice to power the lights, but not crank the motor over. It's fairly common. The OE bateries are garbage, replace it with an Optima.
