2006 TL clutch problems

So when I first drive the car my clutch feels fine but as I drive..or if I really bang through the gears the clutch gets very low almost on the floor and there is a ton of play. Sometimes the clutch just sits really low and I pull it up with my foot and it just falls. I can still shift when it does this although it is a pain to get it into first sometimes. I've read that it may be a fluid issue..leaking or a host of other things. Is anyone have this same problem? ? Any help is appreciated

first, you'll have to trouble shoot the issue.

make sure your clutch master cylinder reservoir is full.

next, inspect both clutch master cylinder and clutch slave cylinder.
check for leaks.

if both master and slave cylinder check out; it may be your clutch going out.

I had the same symptoms you have.
after trying all that I could, i finally got the clutch replaced and the problems went away.

your experience will not mimic mine.

however; i can show you where to score the clutch kit and if needed the flywheel.

the OEM clutch kit is made by LUK.
and the part number for the OEM clutch kit is 08-047.

google LUK 08-047 and buy the cheapest one you see.
