2006 TL 6 SD. Clutch Fluid change

I saw an interval for this fluid change sometime ago but I don't know where that was. What is a reasonable cost for this. I know the brake fluid is every 3 years. I don't put a lot of miles on so don't have the maintenance minder to follow. Thanks in advance.

I don't think this is common maintenance or has a recommended interval. I know some other vehicle say somewhere around 3-5 years. It's still not common maintenance. Most people never even touch brake fluid, the clutch fluid matters even less.

I exchanged mine when I got the car, it was a slight golden color, new was nearly clear. It's probably fine to never change it.

if it's black, change it.

It's a much smaller system than the brakes, so it shouldnt take too long to flush the old fluid out.

Takes $5 and five minutes, why not do it? Just loosen the 8mm bolt on the clutch slave cylinder and top up the reservoir as the fluid level drops. Use clean, fresh brake fluid.
