2006 M/T Acura TL Not Starting Problem

Hey, everyone today in the morning I started my TL just fine like every morning. I warmed it up a few mins and drove to the gas staion. I finished pumping went to turn it on and it would not start, gave it two more try's but nothing pulled the E brake down and tried it again and it started. Then a few hours later same thing again but this time I didn't pull the e brake down. I just turned the ignition on and off all the way to start to off until it finally started again. It drove fine made a few more stops without it happing finally just now it happen again but this time I heard a tic up front has anyone had this problem before and know the problem 100% I suspect it being the starter as it has 190k with the original starter

Any ideas you guys got on what it could be as well?

When you turn the key, does it make one single click? After trying a few times/knocking the starter a bit, does it start up normally? If so, that's most likely a bad starter solenoid. Mine went this past weekend. Like you, it was fine Friday, I got in Saturday to run errands and it wouldn't start, tried a few times, then it fired up normally. I replaced the starter and all is back to normal.

When you run into the issue again, push start the car and if it starts you can rule out electrical issues.

My car did the exact same thing. 2004 manual 157k! I heard some kind of clicking when this happened. So I assumed starter? But then I looked at my battery terminals and they were kind of cruddy. I cleaned the terminals and the battery post real good and so far , its been starting without a glitch.
Just thought I'd throw this out there ,.... Following ,...

Same issue

My 04 6 speed did the same thing. I pulled the starter off to replace it and O'Reilly tested it and it passed that it was working properly. I checked all the fuses, next step is to test the battery...

I had a similar problem last year.

Have you tried replacing the + battery cable? At this age, it might be corroded internally where its ability to properly conduct electricity is compromised. That's what cured me!

Try checking your battery cables the negative and positive make sure they are clean and tight.

if that's good then possible it can be your starter try banging it if it doesn't start. Next time it don't start you can try doing as someone above suggested by push starting the car if it starts right up then most likely it can be your starter and not and electrical issue.
