2006 Engine and Trans Replacement with a 2007 or newer?

Hey ya'll. Picked up a 2006 Acura TL with nav pretty much for free. It has about 300k miles and starts right up but once it gets warmed up the transmission does not shift into gear. If I'm going to get a lower mileage trans, I might as well swap a new engine into it as well. I plan on doing a lot to the new engine and trans, seals, gaskets, the whole nine yards. I don't think I will mess with getting the J35a6 swap into it, just want this to be as easy as possible. My question is, can I swap a 2007 engine and trans into the 2006 body? I've tried looking everywhere but can't find anything specific. I know the trans bell housing changed, so if I were to only do one or the other it wouldn't work but if I did both would there be any issues with ECU, TCU, axles or anything else? Found a really good deal on a engine and trans combo but it's a 2007 and want to make sure it will work before I purchase.

Next question is about nav/stereo. I've read the nav is junk and so is this one on this car. The screen doesn't turn on or work. Can I just put in an aftermarket radio in without any issues?

Thanks in advance!
