2005 TL headlight

So I want to replace my headlights and came across someone with a pair of 2006 TL headlights with lights and ballast all inside. Does it work in my 2005 without any mods?

only thing different about the 06 is different size ballast, it's got the same as the 07-08, however since it comes with a ballast already you have nothing to worry about
