I have a 2005 TL. The battery died and I had to replace it. Re-set radio codes etc. Now power door locks do not work. Can't lock them from inside the car by htting the lock button. Can't lock them either remote. Can lock them manually by pushing each doors button down. The remotes UNLOCK the doors and open the trunk though. Called the dealer said maybe the lock attenuators (which one aren't there 4 of them). Anything I can do at home to fix this?

 

door actuator in the driver side door is busted.

happend on my sister's 04 tsx. it's a common issue. the part is like 40 bucks i think

it's an easy fix. make sure you get the service guide and it will show you how to replace it. what's what i did with the tsx.

the driver side front door actuator is the main one that controls the lock and unlock through the keyless. when you push down to lock the driver door, the others will lock.

 

Thanks...I think I'll let the dealer do it. I looked at it step by step and it may be above my pay grade.

 

It might actually be the MICU and not the actuator. I had this problem before and the dealer replaced the actuator twice until they determined it was the MICU.
