2005 TL climate control is off, but I still feel it blowing air

Hi I have the climate control set at 73. But it is off 95% of the time. However when I get in the car in the morning I can feel hotter air coming out of the vents. Conversely in the afternoon when I leave I can feel colder air being blown in. Am I doing something wrong?

This isn't an issue. You must turn on the recirculation button. Look at it and it should be obvious as to what it means. When it's not on it is pulling air from the outside in to the car. This also is why your a/c will be warmer then it should if your recirc isn't on.

ok thx. If I have it off I can feel, AC air coming through the vents. AC air is very different from outside air and I can tell the difference. I drive with my windows down most of the time so this is a waste of the compressor and system. I will try the recirculate.

ditto recirculate. It is always open by default unless you hit the button, so if you have the blower off you can feel a draft when driving around.
