Hi all,

I recently purchased a used 2005 TL with only 50k miles on it and seem to be experiencing a few problems with it. The first is that when the car is under any kind of load when it is in 4th gear (I checked using the gear selector) there is a high pitch whine that comes from the front of the car that varies with RPMs. I am assuming it has to do with the tranny since it only happens in 4th gear. I tried searching but cannot find anything on this problem. Can anyone give input here?
