Not if his car was produced before May 7, 2005.

The best prices on Acura parts are from:

www.bernardiparts.com
www.acuraoemparts.com

See which gives you a better price shipping included. Should be close.

I had a problem with my stereo and I called Acura on Jan 31 they told me my 5 yrs had expired so they could not fix it I am thinking this applies to everything???

And I just found out that the problem in is not the motor mounts, its actually the CV joints!!! I read some threads and I found someone here with the same problem, This mostly always happen to me in the mornining when I am pulling my car out and I slightly turn the wheel, I hear clicking noise.

my car currrently has 45,000 miles I dont believe they would cover this.

that's def the CV's. Read up on doing CV's yourself. Can't really speak of replacing on the TL but, I've done them on multiple FWD cars in the past and it's not that difficult.

Also, search the local parts stores for rebuilt CV's. Rebuilds are fine and if you replace them yourself you'll be saving a lot of $$$...just mind those torque specs when cracking open the rotor/hub! (advice from a torque monster that has snapped a many a hub stud)

CV-joints. There's an inner and outter joint for each driveshaft. Definitely don't replace joints individually. That's a severe pita and it will cost as much as an entire driveshaft assy. Honda driveshafts really are pricey so get the one you need from Napa. The quality is good and you get a lifetime warranty.

fwd, awd, rwd..you need cv-joints on almost anywhere you have a driveshaft. Only exception might be rwd cars that don't have independent suspension in the back.

I thought RWD cars typically have 'Universal Joints'?

Either way, CV's on FWD cars suck up the load of acceleration and steering forces, causing them to wear out much faster than RWD.

I grew up driving VW's while my dad had American muscle. He helped me repack CV's routinely...I saw Universal Joints once.
