2005 6MT question
2005 6MT question
When up-shifting from 1st to 2nd, and from 2nd to 3rd, I have to use extra effort to engage the higher gear. It is almost as if I have to pull the shifter into its location twice to get it to engage.
Is this normal for the 6MT? It is not very satisfying to drive and does not occur when downshifting.

Our 2005 6MT also sometimes has problems going into 3rd gear, mostly
when cold and I am trying to shift fast.
I have wound up in neutral a few times when I was supposed to be in 3rd.
I dont know if its something I am doing, but its only 3rd gear...
I suppose at 5000 miles, I could try some of the GM mtf friction modified, if
I can find it localy....
