Hi I have a 04 TL and it's been making this weird noise especially when I turn. Is it the timing belt?

Power steering pump?

 

It's your power steering pump. Most likely from the oring on the hose which is known to fail. You are probably getting air into the system, you can look in the reservoir and see if it has bubbles in it while someone turns the steering wheel back and forth. I would also look to see if you are low on power steering fluid and if it is, fill it back up to the correct level using Honda/Acura PS fluid.

Depending on how handy you are, you can rebuild the PS pump with new seals and Orings. Most people start by just replacing the known O ring that fails on the hose where the connector goes into the pump.

Otherwise, replace the PS pump with a rebuilt one from Rock auto for $120.
