2004 TL, Misfire and won't start
Hi folks I'm new here and I have ran into some trouble recently.
I recently got a 2004 acura tl. The CEL was on but I know it needed an O2 Sensor and figured that was it. However, all of a sudden it started misfiring and when the car was idling at the light, it was very rough and noisey. Then the CEL started blinking. I was able to get it home but now it will not start at all, it sounds like it's trying to turnover but it just doesn't. Any idea what the problem(s) may be? Thanks in advance for any help.

Wish I had them but I don't have a diagnostic machine. Never owned a TL before so this is a bit new to me, also since it's not starting I can't carry it to a shop without getting it towed. I guess I was hoping that this would be a known issue and I would get some type of info before carrying it to a shop.

^well it COULD be anything.
from bent valves to faulty coil packs.
if you could get the codes, it would narrow it down.
Are you automatic or six speed manual?
So, it doesnt start up at all!?
have you checked the battery, and its connections? making sure their are not corroded and are on tight

It's automatic, the battery was replaced and the terminals are on tight. When I try to start it, you hear it trying to turn-over but it doesn't. Guess I'm going to have to get it towed to a shop and go from there.

Wish I did but nope. Wish it was something as simple as changing the batt, but something tells me there's more to it. From what I've been able to pull from other topics on this site, ot's either coils, crank sensor and or cam sensor have gone bad. Guess I'll just have to wait to the weekend when I can carry it to a shop and have them run a diagnostic test on it
