I have a 04 tl 6speed mt and has 103k... Ive had mt cars before and this one feels weak is there anything I can do to improve this without modifications. Is it the transmission? I still havent dfone the 105k service yet.

 

The TL has a HP and torque range geared to the upper RPM's 6200 and 5000, so if one is looking for low end response, better look elesewhere.

 

also dz04tl, your post is pretty vague.
Did you buy the car new?
comparing it to a different vehicle holds no grounds on how strong or weak the TL is.

 

your clutch is almost done. you need to get an inspection

how does one know if the clutch is bad if the OP never gave any indication or symptoms that the clutch is going?

the clutch feels good but when im driving on first gear at about 3500 rpms it feels and sounds like im redlining. there are no indication lights on that problem and i bought the car used. even during tune-ups the engine sounds noisy no clicking or tickings I use 5w20 syth.
