New TL
just got a new tl 07 some minor issues it keeps saying check the gas cap and when i go in reverse the mirror makes some noise like it stuck when it tilts.

congrats on the car.
you might have to replace the gas cap. sometimes the rubber seal dries out and cracks and doesn't seal properly. i have that problem all the time in my jeep.

Not sure about the gas cap thing but you can turn the mirror selector switch to the middle and neither of them will tilt down. Mine makes the same noise.

Kenny, the actuators in the mirrors are a known problem for TL's. I've had mine replaced a couple of times.

the actuators are known for making noise....

about the gas cap, you close it tight ? 3 clicks ? do you pump after the pump has stopped ?
