2004 TL auto gas peddle push back
Hey guys I’m new to acurazine and Acura’s and would appreciate any help...
so this morning I started my car up fine and took it down the road and when I made a right turn I slightly pressed the gas peddle and i felt it push back against my foot. I’ve owned the car about 2 months now. It has 149,994 miles on it now. I just put 4 new toyo extensas on it and did a drain and fill 200 miles ago (plan on doing the 3x3 method) I’m just concerned that this is something that can turn into a bigger issue. It’s only happened to me once so far. Any ideas ?

There is nothing that can push your pedal back to you other than the normal return spring. The pedal is not directly attached to the engine. There is a cable that goes from the pedal out to a sensor mounted on the firewall.
I have owned the car for 2 months now and I’m new to Acura’s and read a lot about how these year transmissions have a lot of issues if not maintained right. Maybe I’m just paranoid over something that’s normal being a higher mileage vehicle. If it happens again would U recommend getting it checked out ?
