2004 Electrical System Shutdown

Occasionally the entire electrical system shuts down and after a second and sometimes a minute turns back on. If this happens after the engine is running the system comes alive within a second or less. I have sometimes returned to the car and noticed the clock and stereo have reset. The stereo requires the "code" as if the battery has been removed. This issue occurs only during warmer weather in which the AC is needed. Any ideas? Does the system have and main power relay?

Battery is good. The Hands Free Link is not responding as of this morning after another power cycle reset. It now has happened frequently in the last week just as the ignition is turned off. I have read some interested posts about the HFL causing batteries to die due to HFL failures. Maybe the HFL failure and the power cycle are related. HMMMMMMM.

How do you know battery is good? How old is it? These cars are very sensitive to battery issues.
