2004 Acura TL Starting Issue
Hello,
I have a 2004 Acura TL with 190K Miles.
I went to start it this morning and i had to try 2-3 times to get it started.
I thought nothing of it and took my car to lunch.
When i got back into my car i couldn't get the car to turn over, It has power but the motor doesn't turn over from the starter.
1: Starter and or Solenoid.
2: I don't think its the ignition switch as it seems like the battery is pulling power when i turn it to the start position.
3: The clutch isnt engaging fully or there is a switch in the clutch that is bad. (The car cant tell i have the clutch in)
Does this year car have any known issues with any of the above?
Thanks guys.

Its a starter. happen to me when i went to carls jr and when i finshed eating the car won't start.
left it over night i left the GM of CJ's know so they wont tow.
worked on it there in the parking lot. 1hr later it started running
the starter cost me 45 bucks at the wreaking yard
need a beaker bar trust me bro the bolts are in there tight
it should take you about 45- 1:30
its right under the battery

My starter started giving me problems this morning but is cranking okay now so I'll have to replace it when I get a day off. Any ideas for solid replacements? Trying not to spend $300 on an OEM one if I don't have to.

but the starter is easy to get to. you should have someone you know do it and pick up the starter at the wreck yard for 45 bucks.
