My 1st gear on my 6sp tl sometimes jerk and its not because im letting off the clutch to early. Ive searched around and found no solution. does anyone have a diagnosis to this and maybe an answer? thanks..

p.s. this is my second manual transmission vehicle.

 

no one has this problem? ive searched on google and ive read dirty throttle body, faulty drive by wire, bad 02 sensor, and bad clutch disengagement? anyone have other ideas.... the jerking only happens in between 1st and 2nd gear and it doesnt happen all the time.
Also i am getting close to my 105k service, so could it be that i need this major tune up sooner? thanks guys

This is my 3rd manual car driving after 10 years..I love the car but the clutch is a bit wonky it seems. I get the jerk once in awhile if I don't pay attention. I've gotten used to driving this clutch but if I drive another car for a day I feel like I have to relearn this clutch. I thought it was just me but it seems most people feel the same. Maybe the above is something you could try. Haven't tried myself yet.

 

You're going to have to do a bit more description here. Does this happen as you are engaging the clutch? Does it occur after full engagement? Does it occur at constant throttle positions (as in heavy traffic)?

Give some more detail and we'll see what we have for you.

 

I have the problem. I don't accelerate fast, then let the rpm drop lower than what I would do on the other gears.
