Good morning ladies and gentlemen...

Long time lurker first time poster.

My type S, has been doing fine, but lately when I start it up in the morning I get a high pitched squealing noise from the front passenger side.

And recently, after getting stuck in LA traffic for a couple of hours with the AC on medium, this started happening when it was idle and getting louder when stepping on the gas. (see video)
I'm already bringing it into the dealership on saturday, I'm just wondering what it might be? Timing/fan belt? Something else a lot more expensive?

I'm only at 76k milage.

It's the belt...sometimes is just an adjustment or in need of replacement...easy fix

 

replace your belt, how many miles on said car?

 

Which belt should i replace? The timing belt or fan? Or just do both since they'll be in there already?

Car is only at 77k and i know the timing belt and water pump should be at the 105k mark. but i guess things could go wrong.
